A well deserved break for the community volunteers helping with this project.
Volunteers from the community.
One of the frequent "visitors" to our beautiful community.
M.W. (Pappy) Buttrill in the 1970's standing beside the Mill house and a large sunflower. It was taken by a photographer from the Atlanta Journal for an article in the paper. Pappy, Marc, & Pug purchased Soapstone from Claude & Rhea Kimsey in 1969. Pappy and Pat remodeled and lived in the farmhouse and had a large garden in the pasture enjoyed by their four children and 13 grandchildren.
